Whale and dolphin watching – our greatest passion!

We are truly passionate about and fascinated by whales and dolphins, and we want to share some of this passion every day with everyone who visits us.

Our trip starts on land with a detailed introduction, available in several languages, to the species we can usually observe, as well as important safety information. Once we receive a report from our land-based lookouts about the location of the animals, it’s time to head out to sea!

Every trip is unique, and it is important to remember that no two trips are ever the same. Weather and sea conditions are constantly changing, and the species we encounter and their abundance can vary from one trip to another.

We organise trips in the morning and afternoon, with each trip lasting between 3 and 4 hours. The species most frequently sighted vary depending on the time of year. However, some species can be found around the Azores throughout the year, including the sperm whale.
